Tab Trade - What Traders Should Know

Tab Trade - The Short Version

TabTrade went live in March 2026. Online broker based in Saint Lucia, under Saint Lucia's FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, the New Zealand-regulated broker.

That last detail matters. It means the person running this knows how a proper broker operates. That is not a guarantee. Still more reassuring than someone with no brokerage experience.

TabTrade came out of the gate with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same infrastructure banks and hedge funds use. Usually a new brokerage focuses on ads and sign-up promos. Tab Trade went the other way. Not the typical playbook.

Market coverage: forex, stock indices, metals, commodities, equities, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. 1,000+. For a broker this new, that coverage is broad.

The Software

You get: MetaTrader 5, cTrader, and web trading. Two major platforms from one account. A lot of brokers pick one platform. Access to both matters. Use whichever you prefer.

MetaTrader 5 is the industry standard. Full charting, Expert Advisors, tons of scripts and indicators. If you have traded on MetaTrader previously, there are no surprises.

cTrader by Spotware is the cleaner option. Better depth of market. More responsive charts. cBot support. Plenty of traders prefer it after using both.

Direct FIX connectivity is available for automated strategies but is only on the VIP account ($25,000 to open). TradingView charting is said to be coming. That will make the platform set once it is live.

Accounts and Pricing

Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard account. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. No commission. Simple. $0 to start. Works for beginners.

Edge. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips average. Commission of $3.50 per side. Total cost: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On liquid pairs, the actual interbank spread is frequently a fraction of a pip. Meaning your all-in cost sometimes sits below 0.5 pips. That is hard to beat for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most brokers that offer pricing like this want $500 or more to open. TabTrade requires zero deposit.

VIP account. $25,000 deposit required. FIX connectivity, faster fills, tailored rates. Not something the average person. Skip it unless you run serious volume.

Execution Speed

This is the area where Tab Trade stands apart. Equinix servers in London. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. Those are proper execution targets. The average platform run hundreds of milliseconds.

Does this affect you? If you trade small timeframes, it does. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is catching the move or missing it. If you hold positions longer, it matters less. But the fact that they invested in proper execution. That says something about priorities.

Put together those fill times with the Edge account pricing and the overall offering makes sense. Few brokers at this price point run Equinix connectivity.

Regulation

Now, the part that matters. TabTrade is under the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No FCA. No fund protection scheme. If that is a dealbreaker, stop reading. There are tier-1 alternatives out there.

That said. Benjamin Boulter came from BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The server placement is expensive. Dodgy operations do not invest in tier-1 data centre access. None of this replace tier-1 regulation. It does inform how you think about it.

What you are accepting: you give up tier-1 protection. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether this deal works is your call.

The Bonus

Tab Trade has bonus funds of up to $2,000. Usual deposit match. You deposit, they add bonus funds. The normal fine print: trading volume requirements before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Review the fine print before you deposit.
