TabTrade — The Short Version
TabTrade opened in March 2026. Trading platform based in Saint Lucia, under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, a FMA-regulated broker.
His background matters. It suggests the person running this is not figuring it out from scratch. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. Still more reassuring than a founder with no industry background.
TabTrade came out of the gate with execution through Equinix servers. Same infrastructure institutional desks use. Usually a new brokerage leads with marketing and bonuses. Tab Trade led with infrastructure. Interesting choice.
The instrument list: forex, indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, stock CFDs, cryptocurrencies, ETFs. 1,000+. For something this new, that range is broad.
What You Trade On
Available: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and a WebTrader. Both MT5 and cTrader from the same login. Many only give you one or the other. Getting both is useful. You are not locked into one.
MetaTrader 5 is the default. Complete charts, EAs, massive community. If you know a MetaQuotes platform previously, it is familiar territory.
cTrader by Spotware is the alternative. Better DOM. More responsive charts. Built-in algo trading. A lot of traders prefer it once they try it.
FIX API is available for bots but is only on the VIP account ($25k minimum). TradingView is said to be on the roadmap. That will make the platform set when it lands.
What You Pay
Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Zero commission. Straightforward. No minimum deposit. Good for anyone who does not want to think about commission.
Edge account. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips average. Commission of $3.50 each way. What you actually pay: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On EUR/USD, the actual interbank spread is often a fraction of a pip. So your real cost can sit under half a pip. That is hard to beat for a broker with $0 to start. Most platforms that run raw pricing at this level want $500 or more to open. This broker has no minimum.
VIP. $25,000 deposit required. FIX API, faster fills, negotiated fees. Not something typical accounts. Ignore this one unless you move real size.
How Fast Are the Fills
The speed is where this broker separates from most new launches. Equinix LD4/LD5. Under 30ms on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. Those are proper execution targets. The average platform quote a much wider range.
Does this affect you? If you trade small timeframes, it does. The difference between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is the difference between. If you trade higher timeframes, you probably will not feel it. But the fact that the setup is serious. That signals they are not cutting corners on the tech.
Put together that execution speed with the Edge account pricing and the total package is strong. Hardly anyone in this bracket run Equinix connectivity.
The FSRA Question
Now, the detail that matters. Tab Trade is licensed by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is tier-3. No ASIC. No government-backed safety net. If that is a dealbreaker, look elsewhere. Lots of FCA-regulated options out there.
But. Benjamin Boulter built his career at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The execution setup is expensive. Scam brokers do not invest in tier-1 data centre access. That does not make it safe. But inform how you think about it.
The trade-off: you give up tier-1 protection. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether the trade-off works comes down to your priorities.
Deposit Bonus
Tab Trade has a deposit bonus of up to two thousand dollars. Standard welcome offer. You deposit, they top up your balance. Standard terms apply: turnover conditions before you can withdraw the bonus. Review the fine print before you deposit.
