What to Make of Tab Trade - Launched March 2026, Here Is the Deal

Tab Trade - The Short VersionTabTrade.com launched in March 2026. Online broker based in Saint Lucia, under the FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, a well-known broker. His background tells you something. It says the leadership knows how a proper broker operates. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. But more reassuring than a random name you cannot trace. They launched with execution through Equinix servers. Same data centres institutional desks use. The typical new launch leads with marketing and bonuses. Tab Trade did the opposite. Unusual for a new broker. What you can trade: FX, stock indices, metals, oil, energies, softs, equities, crypto, ETFs. A wide spread. For a platform that is a few months old, that range is not narrow. What You Trade OnYou get: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and web trading. Two major platforms from a single account. A lot of brokers pick one platform. Having both makes a difference. Pick what suits your style.MetaTrader 5 is what most people know. Full charting, automated trading, massive community. If you know MT4 or MT5 before, you know exactly what you are getting.cTrader is the alternative. Better DOM. Smoother chart interaction. Built-in algo trading. Plenty of traders prefer it after comparing.FIX API is offered for bots but requires the VIP account ($25,000 deposit). TradingView is apparently on the roadmap. That would round things out once it is live.CostsThree levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.Standard account. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Easy to track. $0 to start. Works for beginners.Edge. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips average. Commission of $3.50 each way. What you actually pay: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On EUR/USD, the raw spread is often below 0.2 pips. So your all-in cost sometimes sits below 0.5 pips. That is hard to beat for an offshore broker. Most platforms that have spreads this tight require a minimum deposit. Tab Trade has no minimum.VIP. $25k to open. FIX connectivity, execution under 20ms, negotiated fees. Not relevant to most retail traders. Do not worry about it unless you move real size.InfrastructureThe speed is the area where this broker separates from most new launches. Equinix data centres. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. That is proper execution targets. Most retail brokers operate at a much wider range.Should you care? If you trade small timeframes, absolutely. The gap between fast execution and sluggish execution is catching the move or missing it. If you hold positions longer, you will not notice. But the fact that they invested in proper execution. That says what kind of broker this is.Combine that infrastructure with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and the total package holds up. Not many platforms in this bracket have infrastructure at this level.RegulationHere is the part that requires honesty. TabTrade is under Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No ASIC. No fund protection scheme. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a dealbreaker, this broker is not for you. Plenty of FCA-regulated options out there.But. The person running it built his career at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The execution setup is not cheap. Dodgy operations do not bother with Equinix connectivity. This does not replace tier-1 regulation. But factor into your assessment. What you are accepting: you give up tier-1 protection. In exchange: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, $0 to start, fast fills. Whether this deal works depends on you.Deposit BonusTab Trade has bonus funds of up to $2,000. Typical welcome offer. You fund your account, they add bonus funds. Standard terms apply: turnover conditions before you can withdraw the bonus. Check the terms before you commit. The full review, covering regulation, withdrawals, pricing, and read more the bonus terms, is at TradeTheDay.
