TabTrade Review - A Look at This New CFD Broker
The Broker - What It IsTabTrade went live in Q1 2026. Online broker based in Saint Lucia, under the FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, a well-known broker. That last detail matters. It means the founder is not figuring it out from scratch. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. But preferable to a founder with no industry background. They launched with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same data centres institutional desks use. Most new brokers starts with a white-label MT4 setup. TabTrade went the other way. Not the typical playbook.Market coverage: FX, indices, metals, commodities, stock CFDs, cryptocurrencies, ETFs. A wide spread. For something that is a few months old, that range is not narrow. The SoftwareThey offer: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and a browser platform. Two major platforms from one account. Most brokers commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Access to both makes a difference. Pick what suits your style.MT5 is the default. Complete charts, automated trading, tons of scripts and indicators. If you have used a MetaQuotes platform before, you know exactly what you are getting.cTrader by Spotware is the more modern one. Better DOM. Smoother chart interaction. Built-in algo trading. Many people prefer it after comparing.FIX API is offered for algo traders but needs the VIP tier ($25,000 to open). TradingView charting is reportedly in the works. That should round things out once it is live.Accounts and PricingThree levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.Standard. 1.0 pip spreads. No commission. Straightforward. Zero deposit requirement. Suits anyone who does not want to think about commission.Edge account. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips on average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. Total cost: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On EUR/USD, the raw spread is frequently a fraction of a pip. Meaning your real cost can be below 0.5 pips. That is good for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most brokers that offer pricing like this require a minimum deposit. Tab Trade has no minimum.VIP account. $25k to open. FIX connectivity, faster fills, tailored rates. Not for the average person. Skip it unless you trade institutionally. How Fast Are the FillsThe execution is the area where Tab Trade stands apart. Equinix data centres. Under 30ms on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. Those are institutional numbers. The average platform run hundreds of milliseconds.Does it matter? If you scalp, it does. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is profit or loss on tight trades. If you hold positions longer, you will not notice. What matters is the setup is serious. That is they are not cutting corners on the tech.Pair that execution speed with the Edge account pricing and the overall offering is strong. Hardly anyone at this price point run Equinix connectivity.SafetyHere is the detail that requires honesty. The broker is regulated by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is tier-3. No FCA. No government-backed safety net. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a dealbreaker, stop reading. Lots of tier-1 alternatives out there. That said. Benjamin Boulter came from BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The server placement is not cheap. Dodgy operations do not bother with tier-1 data centre access. That does not guarantee anything. But be part of your decision. The deal: you trade regulatory safety. For that: high leverage, cheap spreads, $0 to start, fast fills. Whether that works is your call. The BonusTabTrade offers a welcome bonus of up to $2,000. Typical welcome offer. You deposit, TabTrade top up your balance. Usual conditions attached: turnover conditions before bonus funds can be taken out. Check the terms before you deposit. The full review, covering all the details before you open website an account, is at tradetheday.com.
